This site uses no profiling cookies, carries no advertising, runs no analytics tools and shares no data with advertising networks. Typefaces and technical libraries are hosted directly on this domain, so displaying the site involves no communication with third parties.

What data is processed

Browsing data

Like any website, the server hosting it automatically records certain technical information sent by the browser: IP address, date and time of the request, page requested, browser type and operating system. This data serves only to run the site, keep it secure and diagnose faults. It is not used to identify visitors.

Legal basis: the controller's legitimate interest in providing and protecting the service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Photo gallery (Behold)

The photographs in the gallery and in the background of the opening page come from Lucio Ciccarone's Instagram profile and are delivered by the service Behold (behold.pictures, feeds.behold.so). When these images load, the visitor's browser contacts Behold's servers directly, and they therefore receive the visitor's IP address and technical connection details.

For this reason the images are not loaded until the visitor gives consent: until then no request is sent to Behold, and a panel with a button to enable them appears in place of the gallery. Consent can be withdrawn at any time by clearing the site's data from the browser.

Legal basis: consent of the data subject (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Preferences saved in the browser

The site stores only two pieces of technical information in the browser's local storage: the choice between light and dark theme, and the choice expressed about loading the images. They stay on the visitor's device, are never sent to any server, and cannot identify or profile anyone.

Disclosure

Data is not disclosed publicly, sold or otherwise transferred to third parties. Within the limits of their respective roles, it may come to the knowledge of the hosting provider and of the Behold service, acting either as processors or as independent controllers. Behold may involve a transfer of data outside the European Union; any such transfer takes place on the basis of the safeguards set out in Chapter V of the GDPR.

Your rights

You may exercise the rights set out in Articles 15-22 GDPR at any time:

• access your data and find out how it is being processed
• ask for it to be corrected if inaccurate or incomplete
• ask for it to be erased
• ask for processing to be restricted
• object to processing based on legitimate interest
• receive your data in a machine-readable format
• withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand
